Register to Vote


To register to vote, you must be a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years old by Election Day, a resident of Michigan, and a resident of the city or Township where you are applying to register to vote.

If you are not currently registered to vote or require a change of address, you may do so:

In person at the City of Trenton Clerk’s Office, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Voter registration will be in effect for the next election if postmarked or delivered no later than 15 days before election day and you have met all the qualifications to register to vote.

After the 15-day deadline and on Election Day, you may register to vote by bringing this form and residency verification into the City of Trenton Clerk’s Office.
