Steven Rzeppa (2021)
Was elected to Trenton City Council in 2013 at age 21, and was re-elected in 2017 as top vote-getter and Mayor
Pro-Tem. He was officially sworn in as Mayor in December 2019.
Steven is employed as the Political and Communications Director for AFSCME Council 25. He is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan Ann Arbor with a B.A. in Public Policy.
As a lifelong Trenton resident and product of the Trenton Public School system, he has been involved in many community projects and organizations. He has been recognized for his service to the community by being named the 2012 Trenton Man of the Year, 2010 VFW Outstanding Voice for Freedom, and the 2009 Outstanding Trenton Youth.

Bill LeFevre (2023)
Has been a Trenton councilman since 1991. He is the owner of B&D Vacuum Cleaner with locations in Trenton and Southgate. Bill has been resident of the city of Trenton since 1973. He is married to Linda LeFevre, they have two children, Matthew and Andrea who are graduates of Trenton High School and residents in the city of Trenton. Bill is a member of Trenton Rotary and Faith United Methodist Church.

Timber R. Baun-Crooks (2021)
Has been a councilwoman from 1991-1999 as well as 2001 to the present. She is the owner of Timber’s Salon in Trenton since 1981. Mrs. Baun-Crooks is a life-long year resident of Trenton.
Mrs. Baun-Crooks is involved in many community events and charities including Trenton Rotary and Trenton Business Association. She is always trying to make Trenton a better place!

Nelson Perugi (2023)
Long-time Trenton resident, Nelson Perugi was elected to the Trenton City Council in November 2015.
Prior to being elected to City Council, he was appointed in 2013 to the City’s Planning Commission by Mayor Stack. Along with his wife, Lisa, they have lived in Trenton for 25+ years and three of their four children have attended and graduated from the Trenton Public School System. Their grandchildren are also currently in Trenton Public Schools. Mr. Perugi has been active in Trenton coaching softball, soccer and hockey for over 20 years.
Mr. Perugi has been a Healthcare Professional for 30+ years specializing in Radiology and other imaging technologies. His employment history includes leadership roles at Riverside Hospital, Henry Ford Health System and currently Beaumont Health. Mr. Perugi was recognized as manager of the year by his employer in 2016.
Mr. Perugi is passionate about the on-going success and growth of the City.

hard Benedetti (2021)
Proudly served Trenton as a Firefighter for 25 years. He is married and currently works for Henry Ford Health System. He loves living in Trenton because its a safe community with great services and schools. Will work to keep Trenton the place people want to live Downriver.

ndy Pate (2023)
Was elected to council in 2019. She and her husband, Carl, have lived in Trenton for 19 years, and is a lifelong Downriver resident. They have two children, Daphne, a College of Wooster sophomore, and Carl III a freshman at Trenton High School. Her family has been volunteering in the community activities such as: TBA, TEF, Boy Scouts, and various Student Council events.
Wendy is a retired high school math teacher and MEA-retired member. She served as MEA-RA, class congress sponsor, and staff morale committee chair. She was a member of the City Beautiful Commission and is a member of the Trail Town Advisory Committee. She also co-founded a community action group whose mission is to support the Trenton Coast Resiliency Master Plan and engage residents to support sustainable uses for our waterfront and revitalize our downtown. Wendy is looking forward to unlocking Trenton’s potential, making our town a unique destination location!

Scott Cabauatan (2021)
Scott was selected to fill a council vacancy in December 2019 and took the oath of office in January 2020. Prior to his appointment to City Council, Scott served on the City’s Planning Commission from 2007 - 2019, becoming Chairman in 2016.
Scott is married to his wife Melissa, a long-time City resident and Trenton Public Schools Teacher Consultant for the Hearing Impaired Program. They have been residents of Trenton for over 16 years. They have a son, Connor who enjoys spending his time riding his bike to the City’s Cultural Center.
Scott is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University.
Professionally, Scott serves as the Municipal Services Manager for Republic Services where he manages government relations and business development among other duties for solid waste and recycling services in Northwest Ohio and Southern Michigan. Scott has been with Republic for over 16 years.
Prior to Republic, Scott was employed by the City of Plymouth where he spent a significant amount of time working with the City’s Municipal Services Department and its various operations. Through this opportunity, he was able to gain exposure to many different aspects of local government operations and gain a better understanding of how local government operates.
Scott is a member of the Michigan Recycling Coalition(MRC) and was recently appointed to its Board of Directors, while continuing as a member of the MRC’s Public Policy Committee.
In addition to the MRC, he sits on the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber’s Public Policy Committee.
