NOTICE OF REGISTRATION FOR THE
PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY ELECTION TO BE HELD ON
TUESDAY, MARCH 10, 2020
CITY OF TRENTON, MICHIGAN

To the Qualified Electors of the City of Trenton, Wayne County, and State of Michigan:

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a Presidential Primary Election will be held in the City of Trenton on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that any qualified elector of the City of Trenton who is not already registered, may register to vote at the office of the Trenton City Clerk; the office of any County Clerk; a Secretary of State Branch office, or other designated state agency. Registration forms can be obtained at mi.gov/vote and mailed to the City Clerk. Voters who are already registered may update their registration at www.expressSOS.com.

The last day to register in any manner other than in-person with the City Clerk is Monday, February 24, 2020.

After this date, anyone who qualifies as an elector may register to vote in person with proof of residency (MCL 168.492) at the City Clerk's Office, located at 2800 Third Street, Trenton, MI 48183 at the following times:

- Regular business hours: Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Saturday, March 7, 2020, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Election Day, Tuesday, March 10, 2020, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Qualifications: A citizen of the United States and resident of the City who is at least 18 years of age and has lived in the State of Michigan, resident of the City for at least 30 days prior to March 10, 2020.

Note: A person who registers to vote by mail is required to vote in person unless they have previously voted in person in the city/township where they live or are at least 60 years of age or are handicapped.

In said Presidential Primary Election, candidates for the following offices are to be voted upon:

PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, DEMOCRATIC PARTY
PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES, REPUBLICAN PARTY
RENEWAL OF WAYNE COUNTY ART INSTITUTE AUTHORITY MILLAGE PROPOSAL

Full text of the ballot may be obtained at the City Clerk's office, 2800 Third Street, Trenton, MI 48183, telephone: 734-675-8600. A sample ballot may be viewed at mi.gov/vote.

Persons with disabilities needing accommodations should contact the Clerk's office.

Absentee ballots are available. The deadline for obtaining absentee voter ballots for the Presidential Primary Election to be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, is Saturday, March 7, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. The City Clerk's office will be open from 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2020, for the above purpose. Deadline for obtaining absentee voter ballots to be mailed via first class mail is Friday, March 6, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. Persons qualified to vote absentee in the election may vote in person in the City Clerk's office up to 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2020. Election Day registrants may obtain and vote an absentee voter ballot in person in the Clerk's office.
