Santa's Mailbox at the Cultural Center

Kids! Make sure to drop off your letters to Santa at the Cultural Center (located by the greenhouse) from now until December 24.

The mailbox was donated by the members of the Trenton Business Association and maintained by City of Trenton Parks & Recreation. All letters mailed by Dec. 14 will receive a response from the jolly old elf himself!

Santa and his live reindeer will be flying in from the North Pole to our very own Cultural Center! Bring the family for magical Christmas memories that will last a lifetime!

Santa will be visiting the Trenton Cultural Center! Bring your camera and while you're there, make sure to play the Christmas Scavenger Hunt! All are welcome!

Whispering Pines Animal Kingdom will return again this year! Experience this live holiday petting zoo featuring animals of all shapes and sizes. Whispering Pines provides an amazing animal adventure sure to get you in the holiday spirit!

Santa and his helpers will be making their debut at 200 Maple for "Santa at the Station". Visit Trenton's historic firehouse to meet the crew, explore the firetrucks, and experience a working fire station! Make sure you bring your camera, as there will be photo opportunities with Santa, and your appetite as refreshments will be provided. For more information, please call (734) 676-1314.

Enjoy an entertaining afternoon of skating performed by our Recreation Figure Skaters! Skaters will perform solo, duo and group features as a special holiday gift to you. Annually, the Trenton Civic Commission recognizes outstanding Trenton citizens for their contribution to our community. Awards are bestowed at the annual City Award's Banquet. This year's event will be held at the beautifully restored, Chateau on the River, located in Elizabeth Park. A variety of award categories are available. The Trenton Civic Commission invites you to nominate residents worthy of such honors. The award categories include: Trentonite of the Year, Good Neighbor of the Year, Senior Citizen of the Year, Outstanding Woman and Man, Outstanding Trenton Youth and Charlie Brown, which recognizes an individual that has contributed their time and energy to benefit the young athletes of our community.

Get Ready! The City of Trenton and the Michigan Interscholastic Hockey League will be combining efforts for the 18th consecutive year to bring you the 19th Annual MIHL Prep Hockey Showcase. The Top 42 High School Hockey Teams in the Mid-West including teams from Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio and Indiana will show what hockey is all about.

Over three days, each team will play two games and showcase their talents in front of the best professional, college and junior hockey scouts. This event is possible by tremendous community support and we are always looking to add to our volunteer base. Call (734) 676-7172 for more information.
