Sweets and Treats with Mrs. Segedi is a fun class for the participants to create and eat an assortment of goodies! Classes are held at the Trenton Cultural Center, bring your sweet tooth! This class is appropriate for ages 5-14. Register in advance!

Be epic! Defeating villains is just one part of a superhero's daily job. Grab your Mom, Aunt, or Grandmother, your favorite superhero costume, and join us for a night of fun at the Westfield Center. The Jamboree on Ice is Downriver's longest running show and displays the talents of all ages from 3 - 99. This year's Jamboree on Ice will pick up right where we left off last year. We will celebrate the skills of our growing students!

LIFEGUARD INSTRUCTION

Dates: (Every Saturday) April 13, April 20, April 27, May 4, May 11, May 18
Times: 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
TSC will be using the pool from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Lifeguarding class will be in the pool from 8:00 am - 10:00 am, and will continue in the Senior Cafe for the remainder of the classwork.

Interested in Lifeguarding? This course will teach the basic skills necessary for pool safety and water rescue at Trenton High School, including First Aid & CPR. Persons registering must be at least 15 years old and pass a comprehensive swim test. Course i ncludesand LG/CPR/FA cards.

Participants should bring swim wear to each class session. Upon completion of the course, students must show proficiency in both written and practical testing.

LIFEGUARD RECERTIFICATION

*RETURNING LIFEGUARD EMPLOYEES ONLY*

If you are new to lifeguarding, please enroll into LIFEGUARDING INSTRUCTION CLASS above. You must be on the registration list or have a current receipt to enter the recertification class.

Trenton Parks & Recreation will be offering one (1) Lifeguarding and CPR/First Aid Recertification Course at Trenton High School. It is scheduled for Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

TSC will be using the pool from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm. Lifeguarding class will be in the pool from 8:00 am - 10:00 am, and will continue in the Senior Cafe for the remainder of the classwork.

This includes the course and the LG/CPR/FA cards. You will be able to renew the three certifications (LG, FA, & CPR). Participants should bring swim wear to each class session.

A blizzard of 20,000 marshmallows will hit Trenton in Elizabeth Park for the annual Marshmallow Drop. Once the marshmallows have safely landed, eager children can redeem a marshmallow for a special prize. Put on your boots and come to Elizabeth Park to laugh and enjoy the company of your neighbors! Be sure to watch for the helicopter! Great photo opportunity! Don't be late; the helicopter flies at 9 a.m. sharp! Sponsored by Wayne County Parks.
