WELCOME TO THE ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT
You can help us by not using any outside drain to dispose of waste.
Please contact the City of Trenton Engineering Department ((734) 675-8251) or
Wayne County Department of Environment 24 Hotline (888-223-2363) to report spills and pollution.
The Engineering Department is responsible for maintaining the infrastructure of the City. The infrastructure would include streets, sidewalks, sanitary and storm sewers and water mains. The maintenance would either be by initiating new projects or by reacting to citizen concerns. This department also reviews and issues soil erosion permits together with the enforcement of flood plain management issues. This department is also responsible for: maintaining city maps for sewers, water and pavements; issuing house numbers; reviewing plans; maintaining City facilities and working with environmental issues.
