Emma Boelter's Sugar Cookie Recipe

Cookie Jar3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. baking soda
1 t. baking powder
dash of nutmeg
1 cup butter or margarine
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup sour cream
1 t. vanilla or 2 t. lemon extract

On low speed, add sour cream and vanilla. Beat in flour. Refrigerate 2 hours. Lightly grease cookie sheet. Drop by a teaspoon 2" apart and pat with glass dipped in granulated sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 - 15 minutes.
