This 13,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility is the place to be in the summer, offering many attractions to assure a fun-filled day!

Four distinct areas, connected by a water walkway, will keep visitors swimming. These areas include a 25-meter, 8-lane competitive pool with 2 diving boards, a 15-meter lap pool, a waterslide with separate splash area and a 7,000 sq. ft. leisure pool. The leisure pool, with a depth ranging from zero to 3 1/2 feet and 9 water features, is always a family favorite!

Concession stand, lounge chairs and large shade umbrellas add to the fun! A number of activities, both in and out of the water, will be offered to keep you swimming. It's also a great place to have your morning coffee, read the newspaper while relaxing near the pool and socialize with friends!

Kennedy Recreation Center

Welcome to the Kennedy Recreation Center! This facility is comprised of over 150,000 square feet of indoor recreational opportunities including 3 NHL size ice arenas, skate rental, meeting room, spacious team locker rooms, full concession, spacious lobby and gathering area.

KRC is home to 4 area high school teams, the prestigious MIHL Prep Hockey Showcase, Trenton and Grosse Ile Youth Hockey Associations, MSE Adult Hockey and Trenton Figure Skating. Come visit us and experience "The Coolest Place in Town!"

Trenton Historical Museum

A historic Victorian style home built in 1881 by John and Sarah Moore, this house contains many interesting items connected to Trenton history. The house, which has been closed for renovation, is slated to reopen by 2018.

Future plans include special monthly exhibits and/or activities plus tours of this lovely home. Here is the place where the past connects to the present. View pieces of history, hear the stories of bygone eras and come to appreciate the connection to today of what has preceded. Check back for updated information!

Veteran's Memorial Library covers 21,000 square feet making it capable of increasing its book collection to over 90,000 volumes. Patrons have access to Internet, electronic information, increased programming for children, access to Trenton's historical documents.

The new building is designed to adapt to future changes in library technology. For over seventy years Trenton has provided a library to the community. As the new millennium approaches, Trenton can take pride in continuing its heritage and tradition of providing quality library services.

Village Theatre

The Trenton Village Theatre is home to the Downriver Youth Performing Arts Center. As part of a lease agreement with the City of Trenton, DYPAC has assumed management responsibilities for the 350 seat theatre.

Woodhaven/Trenton Animal Shelter

The Woodhaven and Trenton Animal Shelter is a loving shelter that finds homes for all adoptable animals. This shelter is a no-kill shelter (for adoptable animals) who works to keep all animals in a loving home through our Animal Adoption Program.

Volunteers work under the supervision of the Animal Control Officers. Potential volunteers may come into the shelter to fill out an application or complete an application on their website.
