A new and unique nature-based playground was installed at MacArthur Park last August thanks to a $57,000 grant through the Wayne County Park Millage. This new equipment installation was part of phase 1 of a Park Master Plan that was developed through the efforts of the neighborhood group that adopted the park in 2017. Phase 2 of the master plan will be implemented this spring with planting trees, shrubs and perennial plants. Volunteers are needed to help with the planting day, scheduled for Friday, May 17th from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
