The City of Trenton has nearly 200 acres of park land spread over 16 parks and 5 tot lots which the Department maintains. Facilities are provided for softball, baseball, soccer, volleyball, basketball and other activities. Playgrounds, picnic sites, fishing sites and boat launching facilities are also available. This facility houses the City's Senior Citizen Program (see senior section). It also serves as a meeting place for many service organizations as well as other City sponsored special events. We are pleased to announce that the Trenton Theatre is now home to the Downriver Youth Performing Arts Center. As part of a lease agreement with the City of Trenton, DYPAC has assumed management responsibilities for the 400 seat theatre.
